As a transcriptionist, I work from home for many different medical offices.
None of them have yet asked me if I am HIPAA compliant at home (even though they should).
But, just in case, I found the hipaa home office checklist and
now my home office is up to standards.
Any new clients I just give them a copy of this hipaa home office checklist up front
and they think I'm a genius
